THE OPPORTUNITY
Gokaldas is one of the largest clothing manufacturers in India, with some of the world's leading brands as clients and a 35 year legacy. They were also the original owners of the popular "Weekender" .
With a strategic shift in business toward company owned brands, they approached Beard Design to work on their first super-niche brand that would make the biggest variety and highest quality of shorts.
We worked with the Gokaldas team to define the scope of the brand, its positioning in a crowded apparel market, to come up with an evocative and solid brand name and the visual identity for the brand.
